Ottawa Christmas markets and craft shows, and similar events across Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais, are a boon for organized people looking for unique gifts in 2023. And if you are really organized, you can use this handy list of Christmas craft fairs in Ottawa and beyond to plan multiple holiday shopping outings between now and December 25. Heck, you could go to a craft sale or two every weekend for the next two months.

Here’s where to find pottery and carvings, soap and candles, knitted hats and crocheted afghans, and hipster artisan products of all descriptions in Eastern Ontario, West Quebec, Montreal, the Laurentians and upstate New York this holiday season. A number of the links lead to Facebook pages, as that is the only online presence for some of these artisan shows and holiday markets.

If you see an event listed in multiple sections, that’s (probably) not a mistake. A number of the larger Ottawa Christmas markets and regional craft sales last longer than a few days, so I’ve repeated their listings over each week that they run.

Happy browsing!

P.S. #1: I’ll keep adding to this list as we get closer to Christmas, so keep checking back! If you know of a fair that isn’t listed here yet, please let me know. And if you organize one of these craft sales and have a photo or two from a past event, I’d love to run it—please send your pix!

P.S. #2: Looking for shopping opportunities elsewhere in the province? Christopher over at Road Trip Ontario has a great post about Ontario Christmas markets.
