On a cycling trip near Almonte a few years ago, I came across this lovely pair of horses who wanted to be friends. By the way, this is a great time to discover the Almonte region on two wheels, because it’s Mississippi Bicycle Month, with events like a bike rodeo and an “eat local” bicycle tour.
